Jim Wilson has spent 20+ years in executive management with a track record of success in launching, scaling and transforming businesses in media, content and technology. His experience includes advertising, video games, music and licensing. He also has extensive board experience.

Jim is currently the founder & President of Premion, a division of TEGNA. Commercially launched in September 2016, Premion has scaled quickly as a premium video ad network in delivering billions of impressions, tens of thousands of campaigns, for thousands of clients in more than 200 DMAs. It has built the leading platform for Connected TV & OTT that’s focused on solving today’s biggest advertising challenges: brand safety, transparency, addressability and scale.

At Premion, Jim became a founder and board member of AdLedger, a non-profit that is driving a blockchain-enabled ecosystem for advertisers and publishers.

Previously, Jim oversaw the sale of TouchTunes, a digital music company, where he was COO and delivered new growth and drove its business transformation. Prior to TouchTunes, he was CEO/Board Member at Atari, where he spearheaded the successful turnaround of the US company, shifting from a retail to a digital publisher. He was then promoted to CEO of the French parent company, where he led the restructuring and sale in 2013. While at Atari, he was a Board Member for Paris-based Game One TV, and directed its sale to Viacom.

Earlier in his career, Jim founded the games business at Universal Studios that delivered numerous global hit games before being named as Global Head of Development for Vivendi Universal Games. He also held senior content, licensing and marketing roles at Universal, Sony Wonder and Disney. In those roles, he directly launched and managed top global entertainment brands and their related content.

He is a graduate of Loyola University and Harvard Business School.
