With over 21 years of experience in the entertainment industry, Griffin Gmelich serves as the executive vice president of OTT for Whistle – a digital entertainment and sports company that creates, curates and distributes positive, brand safe original content. In this role, Gmelich manages the procurement of production and co-production opportunities, content, and distribution partnerships from strategy to implementation across multiple OTT channels.

Gmelich joins Whistle following three years as the senior vice president of business development and distribution at the indie stand-up comedy production and distribution firm Nacelle Company, previously known as Comedy Dynamics, which worked with comics including Kevin Hart, Craig Ferguson, Aziz Ansari, Jim Gaffigan and Katt Williams. Prior to Nacelle, Gmelich held multiple executive positions focusing on digital and physical distribution in the entertainment industry including SVP of business development and sales for Gravitas Ventures; led film content acquisitions at Hulu; VP of sales at Entertainment One; and Director of Sales at Warner Bros.

Griffin received his B.A from the University of San Diego. He is an active member of the Television Academy and sits on the boards of Toonstar, IndieVue and Foundation Sports.
